St. Francis (Oil on Canvas)

This St. Francis image is a lithograph originally designed and produced by Haley Weisenburger.
 
The medium is a mix of oil inks and acrylic paint on canvas. The process of creation allows the artist to make multiple pieces that are very similar in appearance though no two pieces are exactly alike.  Each image differs slightly in its wash, coloring, shading, and lines.  
 
The process by which the Artist makes these images requires that the pieces be produced in sessions, with only a limited number being produced each year.  These pieces are from the artist’s original session for this image in which approximately 8 of these images were produced. Each piece is hand signed by the artist and labeled with the session year and its numbering within the series.
